Fontainebleau Miami Beach Overview
Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a large and comfortable five-star hotel. This lively, legendary hotel is located in a building designed by architect Maurice Lapidus in the 1950s – the architect who completely transformed Miami in the mid-twentieth century. Fontainebleau is one of the most famous hotels in Miami with a rich history. During half a century of its existence, it was visited by every American president, starting with Eisenhower.
Location of Fontainebleau Miami Beach
Large, even by Miami standards (almost 9 hectares), the hotel complex consists of four buildings: Sorrento, Tresor, Chateau and Versailles, and is located in Miami Beach in the Mid-Beach area. It is located 16 km from Miami International Airport in the center of the Art Deco Historic District, on one of the central streets of the resort – Collins Ave with numerous shops, restaurants, and nightclubs.

Infrastructure
There are elegant large dance halls with a total area of 62,000 square meters, the largest of which can accommodate more than 2,000 people.
For guests who come to combine leisure with business, the hotel has a 15,000 square meters convention center with two large rooms, which can be equipped on request for corporate meetings, entertainment events, fashion shows, and seven smaller meeting rooms equipped with the latest audio and video technology for corporate and business meetings, conferences and seminars.
There are also 2 lively nightclubs, several upscale restaurants serving Chinese, Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, a steakhouse, and several bars offering a wide range of drinks.
Rooms
Guests can book one of the elegant Standard, Junior Suite, Suite rooms which provide air conditioning, LCD satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar, hairdryer, safe, free Wi-fi internet, and free toiletries. The suites have one or two bedrooms. All rooms are decorated in a modern style with high-quality materials. The floors are carpeted. Cribs are available on request.

In 2015-2021, Forbes Travel Guide awarded Lapis The Spa at Fontainebleau, as well as restaurants Hakkasan and Scarpetta, a Four-Star Award. Forbes also annually awards Fontainebleau hotel “Recommended hotel” since 2015. In 2013-15 Fontainebleau was awarded Forbes Global Star Awards – 4 Stars.
Among other Fontainebleau’s award also are: Certificate of Excellence – 4.5 star rating by Trip Advisor, AAA Four Diamond Restaurants by AAA (American Automobile Association), steakhouse StripSteak by Michael Mina annually receives Best of Wine Excellence by Wine Spectator since 2015 as well as all other restaurants in Fontainebleau.
